I’m Lila Forro. I’m an attorney who handles Social Security disability cases. I’ve lived a lot of places in my life. I was born in Hartford, Connecticut. I spent most of my growing up years in Michigan City, Indiana; and, in the middle of high school, I moved to the Shenandoah Valley of Virgina, which I thought would be the end of me. But I’ve now spent most of my life in the South—lived in North Carolina since 1988—and I won’t be leaving. This is it. I like to garden; gardening is great. I like to be out there, getting in the dirt, and watching things grow. It’s just a wonderful thing because when I’m in the garden, I don’t think about anything else. I wish everybody had something like that.
